With sadness we inform you of the passing of Rebbetzin Rochel Altein, Shlucha for more than 50 years to the Bronx, from the first leaders of Nshei Ubnos Chabad and Mivtza Taharas Hamishpocha and editor of the Yiddishe Heim. She was 95.
She is survived by Tibadlu Lechaim Tovim: her children: Mrs. Chana Gurary Montreal, Rabbi Avrohom Altein, Winnipeg, Rabbi Leibel Altein, Crown Heights, Mrs. Malka Cohen, Manchester, Mrs. Sara Pinson, Nice and Mrs. Simmy Zalmanov - Tzfas.
She was predeceased by her son Yossi and husband Rabbi Mottel.
She merited to see 4 generations of descendants many of them Shluchim and Mechanchim all over the world.
