Mrs. Chaya Motchkin, beloved mother and grandmother living in Crown Heights, passed away on the eve of Yud Aleph Nissan 5780.
She was 75.
She was predeceased by her husband Reb Chaim Yosef Motchkin who passed away in 5763/2003.
She was the daughter of the famed chossid, and ba’al mesiras nefesh Reb Zalman Leib Estulin and grew up in the Soviet Union.
She is survived by her children, Mrs. Sara Motchkin-Kanevsky – Crown Heights; Mrs. Chanie Garelik – Crown Heights, and Mrs. Dinie Cohen – Sacramento, CA; as well as her grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings Mrs. Gisa Freedland – Nachlas Har Chabad, Rabbi Naftoli Estulin – Los Angeles, CA; and R’ Dovid Estulin – Crown Heights.
The Levaya will take place Sunday; passing 770 at 12:00 noon, 12:05pm at 485 Empire Blvd. and 12:10pm at 730 Lefferts Avenue.
